Helen qualified as a physiotherapist in Birmingham and quickly specialised in treating people with neurological deficits completing a MSC in Rehabilitation and Research to further develop her expert clinical skills in neurological rehabilitation. 

She went on to develop her clinical reasoning and handling skills training as a Bobath Tutor and she now teaches qualified physiotherapists and occupational therapists nationally and international 

She is an expert clinician with skills in assessment, the use of spasticity management, orthotics and hands on treatment.

Helen continues to work in a consultant role in the NHS. She is aware of the importance of evidence-based practice and supports the team at heads up! Neuro Rehab to develop skills in practice in the context of best practice guidelines and clinical expertise
