
Emma Walters
Emma is a highly specialist physiotherapist who has worked in neurology for over 20 years. During this period she has carried out post graduate training allowing her to develop her neurological assessment and treatment skills to an advanced level.
She enjoys treating clients with a range of neurological conditions and supports people in outpatient and community settings to help them achieve their goals.
She has a special interest in sport and exercise and the promotion of disability sport, inclusivity and access for all. She has volunteered at the London Marathon as a physiotherapist and also as a support runner. She enjoys working dynamically and actively with her clients, using clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to optimise their potential.
Emma uses her knowledge of the importance of exercise in the maintenance of physical health and wellbeing to make her sessions enjoyable, motivating and active.

- Facial palsy management
- Treatment of Motor Neurone Disease, Spinal Cord Injury and Parkinson’s Disease
- Wheelchair athlete assessments to assist with classification for para athletes
- Completion of 2 Neurofit courses
- Movement analysis and clinical reasoning
- Liaising with other members of the MDT and working with family and carers
- Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy , Health and Care Professional Council and Association of Chartered Physiotherapists In Neurology
